Invisalign is a form of orthodontics where you, through digital models, take these clear trays that fit on the person's teeth. And it slowly, over time, changes the position of the teeth. Good candidates for Invisalign are people who maybe have had braces in the past and don't have major changes to go through. They typically do great with Invisalign.
Invisalign is different than some of the other clear aligner-based orthodontic treatments in that it's managed by dentists and orthodontists. Where we have, you know, we're watching and making sure that things are moving forward properly. We would take impressions and a bite, and send that off to Invisalign. They digitally create a case. And we can watch in a movie as it goes right through the case. And you can see the teeth move right along from start to finish. Once we're happy with how that's going, then we would submit the case, and they would make it. And then, now it's our job to make sure we go through all of the different trays and come up with a good result.
So Invisalign is different than regularly banded orthodontists. In that, it's less invasive to the patient where you're just wearing these clear trays during the day. And you don't have the brackets, you know, constantly on. And so it's invisible. And so, you know, patients really like that fact.
