I went into dentistry partly because my father was a dentist, but also because I always was interested in science and I always liked working with my hands and creating things. I found that it was interesting in how I could create something using my hands. But as well as the scientific aspect of it and how can we help patients with their issues. And as I learned more, it got more into being able to help them if they were, you know, had a whole reconstruction where they were having a lot of problems, not just general dentistry issues. And then it led itself into TMJ pain patients and where, you know, there were some issues that if we can help them out with that, they can lead a better quality of life by being less in pain. All that stuff has been really fascinating for me.
What I enjoy most about being a dentist is being able to help patients with whatever issues they are. The more I learn, the more I realize how interconnected everything is and how we can help one aspect, which helps out other aspects in their life. I think that's, for me, that's the most rewarding part. When my patients visit the office, I want them to feel comfortable trusting that they're in the right hands.
