Inlays & Onlays

Made of porcelain, inlays and onlays are used for larger cavities that do not require a full crown. Both help to strengthen the tooth without reducing healthy tooth
structure.

Inlays are used to fill cavities located in the cusp ( inside ) of the tooth.

Onlays are used for larger cavities or repairs. They fill the inside ( cusp ) of the tooth,
and also extend over the top or side of the tooth.

Both inlays and onlays are made at an outside lab. To assure a custom fit, they are created from impression of your tooth.
